CURRICULUM PRESCHOOL: The preschool curriculum emphasizes development of the whole child
through multiple integrated hands-on activities for ages three and
four. The preschool opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. It
provides a morning and afternoon snack as well as a daily hot lunch.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Multi-sensory teaching techniques are used from kindergarten to
fifth grade to ensure a successful experience for each student. The
students attend field trips quarterly to enhance the subject matter.
Special days, activities, and projects help develop a well-rounded
curriculum. Electives include music, physical education, hand bells,
recorders, band, choir, and computer.
MIDDLE SCHOOL: Middle school students, in grades sixth through eighth, develop
skills through a variety of learning techniques. These techniques
include lectures, computer learning, hands-on projects, field trips,
leadership conferences and a spring Academic Adventure trip. These
Academic Adventure trips are extremely intensive educational trips on a
three year rotation visiting the following cities and surrounding
areas: Philadelphia, PA, Washington, D.C. and Charleston, SC. Band and
piano keyboarding classes are offered year-round to our entire middle
school.
