SPEECH MEET
Annually students in grades first through eighth are encouraged to be involved in an Association of Christian Schools International Speech Meet. These meets consist of many different types of speech opportunities such as prose, poetry, recitation of Biblical passages, etc.

The ACSI Speech Meets help to promote a student’s effective speech patterns when in front of an audience. The meets enhance a student’s ability “to speak audibly, articulately, expressively, and with poise and confidence.” These meets also help students improve their “communication skills that will contribute to effective leadership in Christian activities.” (acsi.org)
